Avenue Q-The Musical

I saw Avenue Q last night at a Broadway Across American Production, with my 20 year old son. What a fun evening. I know he had a blast, ROTFL......If you get a chance to see this, go ahead, just don't bring the youngsters or the those not willing to have an open mind or open heart.....

The puppets are terrific, but no more enchanting than the actors who bring them to life. The songs are as beguiling and refreshingly irreverent as you may have always suspected a "Sesame Street" for adults could be. "Avenue Q," the hilariously inventive little puppet show that won at the Tony awards. I wouldn't call it Sesame Street. "The upliftingly outrageous, Muppets-liberated humor, graphic puppet sex and anything-goes attitudes still hit their comically shocking marks in performance no matter how many times you've heard "It Sucks to Be Me," "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" or "The Internet Is for Porn." Sounds absolutely fascinating Pamela. I haven't heard of it but don't keep up on show much after moving to PA. So glad you and your son enjoyed yourselves though. Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing weekend.♥
