Florida Bald Eagles

At dusk most every evening , around the bend on the golf course, a pair of eagles stops by for a few minutes. First, one arrives, then a few minutes later the other. They always "talk" a lot when they see each other. Their nest is about 1/2 mile away.


They only stay 20 minutes or so, then fly off. They repeat this ritual in the early morning at dawn, then again at dusk. Not sure why.
These eagles do not migrate, they stay year round here, I have seen them for several years now.

Furry khool!

We used to watch a nest site out of Wooshington State but get too khaptivated with our PF's!

Mom didn't get to see it but there was one that was riding a thermal above her office last week!

We've also seen them just off Unkhle Paul's bakhkyard since he lives just off the Suskhwehana River!
